The Issue

Christopher Robertson didn’t just post hateful content online — he brought it to the doorsteps of Jewish families across metro Atlanta and openly threatened Black lives. Now he must be held fully accountable.

According to federal investigators, Robertson posted violent, racist, and antisemitic videos — including songs threatening Jews and a recorded threat to murder Black people. He called himself the “official spokesperson for the white race.” Then he showed up in person at multiple Jewish institutions, including the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta and a Chabad center in Peachtree City. In one terrifying encounter, staff locked themselves in an office while Robertson filmed and posted the moment online.

When the FBI came to arrest him, Robertson barricaded himself inside his home before finally surrendering. He’s now in custody, facing charges for interstate threats — but that’s not enough.

We’re calling on the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia to file federal hate crime charges and investigate whether Robertson’s actions qualify as domestic terrorism under federal law. This was not random or isolated — it was targeted, premeditated hate designed to instill fear in entire communities.

In addition to prosecution, we demand that Robertson’s social media content be permanently removed across all platforms. His posts, which include direct threats of violence and filmed harassment of Jewish institutions, should not remain online to inspire others. Social media companies have a duty to act swiftly when their platforms are used to spread terror and racial hatred.

This is a critical moment for Georgia. Jewish and Black residents deserve to feel safe — not just because someone has been arrested, but because every system in place acted clearly and forcefully to protect them.

Add your name if you agree: Christopher Robertson must face hate crime charges, his violent online content must be removed, and our communities must not be left vulnerable to hate.
