Chapel Hill Transit does a GREAT job of servicing the Chapel Hill community. Unfortunately a large section of the community is under-serviced by the ambitious and extremely beneficial group. We as residents of Shortbread Lofts, and the surrounding East Rosemary street community, would like to petition that a new stop with service to the UNC campus, including the business school, be added at Shortbread Lofts. This community has grown to nearly 400 individuals who actively travel to the University. Shortbread Lofts strives to provide alternatives to driving and feels a partnership with Chapel Hill Transit would be beneficial to both parties. 

Our community is expected to grow by another 600 individuals once the construction of Amity Apartments is complete. Now is the perfect time for Chapel Hill Transit to engage this market!
