In 1948- a woman named Emalea Pusey Warner , passed away at the age of 94. She was very active in supporting education and Warner Elementary School was named after her. It is now 2022- and we, the people, would like to see Warner Elementary School’s name changed to Dr Terrance Newton Elementary. I could write a thousand reasons why this change should occur, but look on any news platform and read for yourself all of the incredible things Dr Newton has done- and would of continued doing if his life wasn’t tragically cut short . The loss is overwhelming to the entire community and i can’t even imagine anyone being opposed to the name change. Please consider in honor of Dr Terrance Newton. 

If there is any rebuttal as far as Ms Warner- i don’t see why the school name can’t be changed to Newton Elementary and have the library named Warner Library… that will be our argument if need be!
