The current dress code states that sweatpants are not allowed. Obviously, there is not a Christian or environmental reason behind that: the school fundraising programs have “shorts and sweats pass” included as one of the prizes. We can reasonably conclude that the restriction on our choice of wear is solely for their own economic gain. This is not a violation of our rights, but downright outrageous: you can buy “warrior wear appropriate” sweats, which are like normal sweats with a Valley Christian VC slapped on it and are super expensive (30 dollars + 10 dollars shipping fee). Although it may be argued that these show school spirit, the high school has no such dress code restriction. So why should the junior high? Additionally, some of us cannot wear jeans for health reasons.

I personally own mostly sweat pants so if I get a referral, the same level of discipline for plagiarism or cheating, for my laundry not being in cycle, the school discipline system is pretty questionable.
