GSIs and TAs are how students learn at large universities like Cal. Without them during these last few critical weeks of fall semester makes passing classes a daunting task, especially for freshman and new transfer students. Allowing students to choose a pass/no pass system would create a more equitable academic atmosphere in the time of the strike.
