The Virginia Tech mascot has been around for quite some time, and today as I was reading online, I couldn't help but notice how lackluster and unexciting it has become. I remember attending games as a student and feeling the lackluster energy it brought, and now more than ever, I feel it's time for a change.

Virginia Tech is known for its vibrant student body, exceptional academic programs, and powerful athletic teams. Our mascot should reflect the dynamic and spirited community that we are. We deserve a mascot that inspires and excites, one that truly represents the pride and enthusiasm we feel for our university.
