Throughout years of struggle, this flag has been carried by those fighting for freedom and by Syrians around the world who stood in solidarity with their homeland. Now, as Syria embarks on a new chapter, this flag deserves its rightful place as the nation’s emblem—digitally and otherwise.

Changing the Syrian flag emoji is more than a technical update; it is a recognition of the people’s will and their triumph over oppression. Emojis are a universal language, and by updating this symbol, we can ensure it represents the true identity of a free Syria.
