In many instances, symptoms do not manifest until much later, and it is only fair to allow patients a reasonable timeframe to discover that they have been wronged.

A plausible solution would be to extend the timeframe to a minimum of five years with a possibility for extension in cases where malpractice is discovered later. It is crucial to provide a fair opportunity for victims to seek the justice they deserve.
