Michael’s currently is trying to change the dress code which involves not wearing graphic tees in general and pins. Majority of the time, shirts and crop tops will be able to be hidden by our vests or aprons that is part of the already established dress code. This also involves any jewelry we wear. All in which MUST be approved by Michael’s. 

Yet we are a CRAFT STORE who are known of being creative and unique, though we are being limited to what we wear. This affects the mood of employees since employees will get compliments FROM customers about pins or clothing they wear.

The common sense involved nothing political, racists, or just anything that can cause trouble. This is common sense, however the pins we wear is a way for us to express ourselves. The dress code list itself is not very clear due to it being very simplified.

This petition is a way for us to try to bring back the old dress code or just to adjust it to make it more logical.
