Dear All India Football Federation (AIFF),

The Indian Football Community is underwhelmed on the design of the trophy of Hero SuperCup. The trophy is awful looking and makes no feeling of a coveted and premium looking silverware that is worthy enough to fight for. Rather, it looks cheap steel with no soul to it.

The trophy is often described as a Silencer trophy in the Indian football community, citing its peculiar resemblance to a motorbike's silencer.

The SuperCup being the premiere cup tournament of our nation deserve to have a better looking trophy. SuperCup lies at the top of the hierarchy and is the premier cup tournament of our country replacing the much iconic Federation Cup.

The defunct Federation Cup which got replaced by the supercup had a better trophy.

Even much older tournaments like the Durand too have trophies that will evoke a feeling of pride when lifting i and is worth fighting for. and that is what the SuperCup trophy is lacking.

The tournament is just 2 season old and its coming back and soon will be played throughout the season. This is the right time to upgrade the trophy to a much better one and get rid of the current one.
