Sri Lanka, with its renowned hospitality and commendable record in hosting international events, stands out as a viable alternative. Other neutral venues could also provide a safe and welcoming environment for all fans to enjoy the spirit of cricket without impending threats. These alternatives not only ensure safety but also uphold the essence of the sport, which is to promote unity and camaraderie.

I urge the International Cricket Council (ICC) and cricket governing bodies to consider these apprehensions and take prompt action to relocate the tournament. This proactive step would alleviate the safety concerns of fans like me while ensuring that the magic of T20 cricket can be enjoyed by everyone in a peaceful and secure setting.
