This petition is for NHS to improve channels for NHS staff/employees to report bullying by GP partners in surgeries without fear of retaliation.  Mandate:

• Anonymous reporting channels

I am aware that in a local surgery, staff have been bullied out by GP partners.  This is particular relevant in GP 'top heavy' partnerships where retaliation is possible or being ganged up against, should you complain/raise concerns.  Sometimes, having a voice isn't welcomed and silencing techniques could be used against you.

Remember, bullying is never about you.  Healthy people don't bully.

Alarming statistics of staff bullying are reported in NHS Digital's 2019 Staff Survey. It revealed that nearly a quarter of NHS staff were bullied in the past 12 months.

The NHS needs to act on cases of GP Partner bullying and take concerns by staff members seriously as it effects morale and staff retention; reputation of surgery.  Nobody wants a toxic working environment and there is 1 instigator behind it usually.  Unfortunately, this culture spreads.

Firstly:

• Stand up for yourself;
• Learn your rights; 
• Document everything; all incidents;
• Identify problem members of staff.
• Report to GMC/ICB/NHS/Healthwatch/Social Services;
• Take unfair dismissal cases to employment tribunals
• Obtain legal counsel.

You could leave online reviews, safeguarding others - nobody wants to work in a toxic environment.

If you don't act, it will continue.
