In recent times when women are fighting for equal rights there are people on social media who are spreading violence through their misogynistic views to shun the women's voice. The recent incident has taken on instagram where one account vy name of yogi.oabs has started his anti-feminism movement and call himself a motivational speaker supporting patriarchal system. Many will think it is only an account but it is same as terrorism brainwashing the youth to believe in such ideologies. Equality is our basic right and such posts and speech favouring patriarchy is not just someone's opinion but a way to suppress women rights. This must stop. Cyber laws only considers few parameters for women laws where these are not accounted as crime. But to a society it is a crime against women which takes away their freedom and rights and such speech, video or post glorifying misogyny and partiarchy should be piunishable. Only then can we have a better society where women can be equal. Ignoring such things will only lead to their encouragement of spreading such ideology which later converts into crimes against women for demanding equal rights. For equality this has to stop. This cannot be ignored. Right to freedom of speech is only good until it is not harming other. Please sign the petition and stop such culprits who are decaying our society.
