Throughout my whole life, I have been pronouncing it the wrong way.  Although it wouldn't be an unreasonable request for me to fix my pronunciation, I would like the official pronunciation to be changed.  This is because I, along with many of my peers and fellow Americans, was raised pronouncing it the same way, which also happens to be the wrong way.
