Lakeshore Middle School's dress code is out of date and teachers are taking it to far. It is targeted towards girls and has unreasonable expectations. Many people have been told that their outfits are "too distracting" or "illegal." It has gotten so far to the point some teachers are making girls line up outside of the classroom to check if their shorts go past their fingertips. If a boy wears something that goes against the dress code, the school looks past them.

Instead of targeting girls and their "revealing" outfits, Lakeshore Middle School needs to teach kids the importance of respecting other people. Students should be able to wear things they are comfortable in without needing to be worried about being sexualized or judged.
