Change Crumbl Cookies Dress Code

The Issue

Hello, my name is Daniel and I am located in south-eastern Wisconsin.  I am an employee at one of the larger Franchises in the area. Since opening, we have had the freedom to wear our piercings and jewelry, show our tattoos, and have plain black leggings as an option for our uniforms.  Now, the franchise I am a part of would like to expand with more stores.  However, corporate has decided to crack down on their dress code policies in response to this.  Saying that, “No more stores can be opened until all of your employees are in compliance with our dress code.” To top this, they have also threatened to fire/fine the GMs on our side, and fire employees that refuse to get rid of permanent expressions of themselves.  There are thousands of Crumbl locations at this point.  They are the fastest growing chain in America at the moment. Shouldn’t we be able to continue working at a place that we love and care for?  Why should we have to lose a piece of our workforce due to an outdated policy that disproportionately affects our overwhelmingly female staff?  At the Pleasant Prairie location I am a part of, we have less than 10 male employees.  The rest are women.  Multiple coworkers have reached out, saying that they would have to permanently remove piercings they paid  for. No placeholders or studs, plastic or otherwise.  No matter how small or noticeable.  Our corporate bosses have the power to change these policies as they see fit.  They see how this affects us and have decided not to change course.  So I’m asking you to give your support in hopes they might see the error in their ways.  Share this petition with your friends and loved ones. Help us keep Crumbl from becoming just another corporation.
