I pay a tremendous amount of of child support. Now I’ve come to the realization that is it what it is. I don’t have a problem paying. But why is it based off of my overtime? I can barely survive. Especially during times where there is a drought in overtime. I’m forced to work 80 hours or more per week. And when I can’t I don’t have money to pay rent and take care of my needs. I work so much I can barely spend time with my kids. And then the court awarded more money claiming cost of living when I didn’t even get a cost of living increase. Is there anything that can be done about this or do I have to continue to try and make ends meet like countless other men I have spoken with? Something has to change. We’re struggling out here.
