Camp Gaea is a retreat space in Leavenworth County, Kansas where people are allowed to camp and stay at. Clothing is optional there, so it is not explicitly a nud¡st camp but many people chose to be nude during their stays. In theory, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having spaces like this for people to express themselves, but the only problem is that minors are allowed to be there in general. This has unfortunately led to many instances of minors being SAed, molested, and harassed with absolutely no repercussions for the offenders or change in policy by the camp.

The only recent change in camp policy was the banning of people currently facing charges related to a sex offense until those charges are resolved in August of 2022 after a man charged with attempted to have oral sex with a child dropped off food at a memorial service on campgrounds, but that doesn’t solve the root of the problem which is the fact that minors are allowed there in the first place.

If you feel like doing more here are two other ways you can help:

1. Report the Gaea Retreat Center Facebook page:  Again it will take just a few minutes and if enough people report it and it gets shut down then people attending their events will not have an outlet to find information. 
2. Search "Gaea Retreat Center, Leavenworth County" in Google, and write a review expressing your concerns and demand for the camp to change their policy to only allow people 18 years or older on the premises.
