We appreciate the work of the CPSD Transportation in finding solutions for better pick-up and drop off spots, but we strongly feel the best solution for the children is to go back to the old pick-up and drop off spots for several reasons. 

1. The old designated spots were more convenient and better for picking up children.
2. Acorn Park Dr is a very cold road. It's an open field and extremely windy, even in summer, something that residents of this area are well aware of.
   With winter coming up, it will be very hard for the kids to wait up to 30 minutes in the cold (in addition to the walk time), in an open field with cold winds hitting their face non stop.
   This is already a struggle now, as per this morning there were very cold winds during the whole wait time, and children were quivering and sneezing. 
3. The bus will still inevitably go on the highway through the same path as before. 

Tempo and Vox have a lot of young children. We please encourage the transportation office to make the best decision for them. This minor change in the buses itinerary causes an inconvenience for many little children, that might also affect their health, and will make the winter unbearable.

We really hope you will reconsider this decision for the good of the children.
