The American Heart Association (AHA) modified the default settings on the class connector from “search classes” on their Find A Class search tool to “Search Training Centers/Sites” and this has caused individuals searching for a class to only contact Training Centers or Sites. The class connector is a invaluable resource for individual instructors that rely on it for incoming students.

This change seriously affects the ability of AHA Instructors from receiving student reservations for upcoming classes, negatively impacting their income.

We petition the AHA to restore the Class Connector to its original default setting to “Search Classes.”

The AHA needs to make this change to support the large number of AHA Instructors that have businesses that are impacted by this decision. AHA Instructors are an invaluable part of the AHA’s endeavor to provide CPR training to local communities and businesses. Without this change many AHA Instructors are being forced out of business.

The American Heart Association does not realize the impact this change has made to the thousands of American Heart Association Instructors that support their endeavors for emergency cardiac care for communities and businesses. Please sign this petition, and make your voices heard.
