My personal nightmare began when my children were unceremoniously taken from me. It wasn't enough that I lost my precious ones, they even made the audacity of kidnapping my daughter from the hospital. Adding more to the wound, the foster family was instructed to sneak in and out of the hospital through the back door, keeping me completely in the dark about my child's state. This traumatic experience happened to me, in Hancock County, Mississippi, and sadly, I am not an isolated case.

As per my experience and the stories of others victimized by this system, there appears to be a grave injustice in the family legal system since 2020 and before me. There's an alarming rise in cases similar to mine, implying a deep-seated systemic flaw that puts the welfare of children and their families at risk. It's crucial to highlight that the adoption and foster care system should always prioritize what's best for the children and their natural families.

We question an authority that seems to hastily resort to removal, oblivious of the emotional turmoil it inflicts on both child and parent. This needs to be addressed immediately as the long-term effects are both severe and damaging.

Let's challenge this systemic flaw that has been causing torrential anguish to families in Hancock County, MS since 2020 and before my case. We fervently call on the higher authorities to reinvestigate these cases and ensure they are handled with maximum sensitivity, prioritizing the welfare of the children and respecting the rights of the natural parents.
