Meal Plan Discretion
The Issue
Students at Chadron State College should reserve the right to spend their Meal Plan and Eagle Bucks as they see fit.
There are multiple restrictions in place for the Chadron State College Meal Plans. First, all on-campus students are required to purchase a meal plan. Second, students are told they can only use one meal plan at a time, and that a second meal will be charged with Eagle Bucks. Third, students are not allowed to use their Meal Plan on visiting friends or family. Fourth, at the end of the semester, any remaining meals and Eagle Bucks do not carry over to the following semester. Students are not refunded for these meals.
The cost of a Meal Plan comes out of the student's pocket; therefore, it should be the descretion of the student to use their Meal Plan and Eagle Bucks as they deem fit.
Requested Changes to Meal Plan Policy
1) Students reserve the right to use multiple meal plans in a single setting.
2) Students reserve the right to use their meal plan to pay for visiting family and friends.
3) Eagle bucks will carry over from the Fall to the Spring Semesters.
Current CSC Meal Plan Pricing:
Students pay an average of eight dollars per a meal. This does not include the outside cost of additional groceries!
- $1450.00 - 150 meals and $200 Eagle Bucks
- $1835.00 - 200 meals and $200 Eagle Bucks
- $2150.00 - 280 meals and $200 Eagle Bucks
- $775.00 - 80 meals and $50 Eagle Bucks (Commuter Only)
