I've been a paid and a volunteer firefighter in Victoria for several years. At a fire a burning log knocked me off a cliff - punctured my lung, split my kidney in half, lacerated my liver and broke my ribs. I was given a 50/50 chance of living and was diagnosed with PTSD 

They won't provide compensation for an accident at work firefighting, being knocked off a cliff, surrounded by fire and severely injured, it took 3 hours to extricate me from the mountain. They are making me have to fight this and it's making life even more difficult, I tried to end my life recently.

I'm desperate. This petition is my only hope to get some justice – and support for my injuries from this cruel insurance company.

I can't believe what they've done. After being injured that day they laid me off. Right now I am left with nothing, All I want is to be compensated for my injuries so I can move on and support myself. I need help.
