Saving South Dekalb Mall From The Auction

Saving South Dekalb Mall from The Auction

It's time for us as a community to Step Up To The Plate. Let us buy South Dekalb Mall and start our own Black Wall Street. I think it's time for South Dekalb Mall to be Black Owned. The community in Greenwood had its own Black Wall Street. Why can't we have our own Black Wall Street? It's time for the communities to Step Up To The Plate and start our own Black Wall Street. I need your signatures and your support. Let's collaborate and make a difference in our community. My dream is for the communities to come together to have our Black-Owned Wallstreet at Gallery at South Dekalb Mall. The first step is to sign this petition and get support to buy South Dekalb Mall. We need our leaders in the community to Step Up To The Plate make a difference in the community.

What will the community gain if the mall stays in the community?
We will increase black businesses in the community. Develop Black people's interest to start a business in the community. The community wants to show the next generation Black-Owned business is around here to stay we have a voice in the community. We want to encourage our children to have a business. Also, make an impact by supporting a Black business circulating their dollars in the communities. When our children grow up as adults, they can have a Black-Owned Business or support other Black Businesses in the community. Black Business owners can meet with people in the community and build a relationship with them. Don't let this look unfamiliar to the next generation that Black-Owned business does exist in the community.

We lose hope for Black Wall Street if we lose the mall in the community. The door of opportunity closes. As a community, we want to invest our dollars back into our community. We want to make a statement we can reinvent our community. So the black community can prosper with business. Work together and build a foundation for our community and support one other. We need our leaders in the community to Step Up To The Plate make a difference in the community.
