Lockdown has put 321 million Indian children away from school, widened learning gaps

Online classes are a good idea as a short term solution for providing education as the school is closed due to COVID - 19 , but it creates Digital Divide as all the children do not have access to the internet .

Only two states in India have at least 40 % rural households with the internet facility and in remaining states, only 10 % to 20 % rural households have the internet facility

above that, as there are no jobs for daily wagers, they have to deal with Poverty and They do not have the money to send their children to school, and to recover from the financial state, children have to leave school and start working.

Financial constraints and economic work are already the top two reasons for rural children to leave school, 19 % of secondary students dropped out of school across India in the year 2017 - 18

This increases Child Labour and this creates a long term problem and awareness has to be raised about this and the governments have to find a solution for this.
