I have been a Houston native for almost twenty years. With the unpredictable weather in Texas, I've experienced multiple lackluster performances by CenterPoint regarding the restoration of power to families in an urgent manner amidst natural disasters. Their customer service is poor and non-existent. There are no updates. The outage website is crashed and not working. These incompetencies are unacceptable as hundreds of thousands of families and loved ones are awaiting them to restore electricity in a timely and professional manner.

CenterPoint's efforts amidst this disaster to restore power have been abysmal and are endangering Houston's families with minimal updates and incompetent restoration of power. We the people must make this billion dollar company take responsibility as they must reimburse each affected family $5000 dollars for generator compensation, and urgent survival needs. Considering they make millions a year off government subsidies while we the people suffer in their hands. Let's all work together and truley make change for all houstonians going through this tragic time.
