We, as European citizens urge our governments to call for a ceasefire in the Gaza strip, lift the blocade and send humanitarian aid to local population.

We cannot remain silent and blind regarding current humanitarian crisis and the number of deaths (+6,000), including more than two thousand (2,000) of children due to the current bombardments. We cannot remain silent to the suffering of human beings which are locked up, isolated, whith no access to basic food, clean water and medicine. We cannot remain silent to the lack of humanity the world is showing. 

We join our voice to the UN and humanitarian organizations to call for an end to this massacre and we dissociate ourselves from any position taken from our governments, companies or institutions that support, justifies or excuses violence instead of calling for peace. 

Finally, we express our sympathy to the civilian populations who are suffering on both sides and hope that a lasting and just peace can be achieved in the region.
