Dear members,

We are writing this petition requesting your support to correct the cease of funding that has occurred for Rocky Bay Child & Family Services.

A letter will be drafted and sent to leadership at all levels including, our Chief & Council, the Regional Chief of Ontario, The Minister of Indigenous Services and any other governing body who will listen. Attached to the letter will be the results of this petition to prove that we as a community completely disagree with the Chiefs movements to unilaterally act in sabotaging an agency that is supporting her members without consulting Council and/or her people. We know this because she has stated this herself at Band Meetings when the majority of Council responded to say that they had no idea of her intentions or the meetings she held with funders at provincial and federal levels.

We must stand together to save Rocky Bay Child and Family Services, an agency that has provided essential support and social services for so many children, youth and families of BZA.

By signing this petition, you are saying that you fully support the movement to save Rocky Bay Child & Family Services and want all funding to continue so the agency can continue doing the work it has in the past. This includes Child & Family Services, Traditional Care, Prevention Services, Jordan’s Principle Services, and Band Representation Services.
