Ed O’Bannon, a former UCLA basketball player, led a class-action lawsuit that resulted in the discontinuation of the much-loved NCAA Football video game series. His victory in court ended EA Sports' ability to use players' likenesses without compensation. While this may seem fair on the surface, it has deprived millions of fans worldwide from enjoying these games and supporting their favorite college teams virtually.
