The Percy Jackson series have 10 extremely well-constructed novels that focus on Greek mythology with a modern twist. It's highly educational, not to mention entertaining. The series has an incredibly large following, and the movies did not do justice to them. People could greatly get involved in a new fantasy series that is just as important as Harry Potter to many, and watch diverse and intriguing plot lines on TV. The world of Percy Jackson is so rich and beautiful that TV can do justice to. It's also not very difficult to follow and has good levels of humor as well as drama. If the series is accurate to the books and casts actors of the same age, appearance and races, this should be a very popular TV show in no time.
