Whereas; the landscape these days is becoming so oversaturated with streaming that it's basically becoming like cable again so streaming is not the wave of the future anymore

Whereas; there's a high chance it'd lead to ending all the current Arrowverse shows and not everyone believes e.g. that Batwoman is "too woke" or The Flash is too long in the tooth

Whereas; most people's suggested solutions on Reddit just seem to be "sell it off to make it like it was back in my childhood again and only re-air the good shows from my childhood" but there are many different ideas of what that'd be and so that couldn't please everyone

Whereas; both of the top two potential buyers are the worst groups to buy "a heavily politicized network filled with left-leaning material" and will either completely gut it or try to swing the pendulum for ratings

Whereas; it's literally in the branding that it belongs to who it belongs to, the C stands for/comes from ViacomCBS and the W stands for/comes from WarnerMedia therefore if anyone else were to buy it, it would either have to keep a name that at that point becomes anachronistic and misleading or basically end up in a Ship Of Theseus situation where it has to change its name to reflect new owners and basically become a new network entirely

Whereas; it has been profitable after 2006

Therefore; ViacomCBS and WarnerMedia should hold on to the CW
