Recognition that the Cavalera brand is using the Albanian eagle as their logo

Recognition that the Cavalera brand is using the Albanian eagle as their logo
The Issue
We demand that the Cavalera brand give recognition that they are using the Albanian flag as their logo. They claim their brand was founded by Alberto Turco Loco Hiar in 1995 and a designer of theirs created the “Cavalera logo” using “Word Office Clipart to create a stamp.” The said logo they created coincidentally looks extremely identical to our beloved national flag with few minor differences to the body of the eagle and the tail.
The Cavalera crew released a statement saying “even though this logo is very similar to the Albania flag, the double-head eagle appears on many other flags, such as: Flag of Montenegro, State Flag of Serbia, the flag of the Greek Orthodox Church or the flag of the autonomous monastic state of Mount Athos. The origin of this eagle came from the Byzantine Empire, and it is linked to religion, imperial family symbols, etc.”
To which we argue that the Flag of Montenegro represent the first the coat of arms alongside other unique details that include a crown, an emblem, a coronation ball and sceptre. When compared to the Albanian flag, the Flag of Montenegro does have some similar attributes in colours but is extremely different, this is also said for the State flag of Serbia where they represent a tricolour of red, blue, and white; charged with the lesser Coat of arms left of centre. Please note the term used for each flag is coat of arms and not double headed egal. Cavalera are correct in the fact that the origin of the Greek Orthodox Church and the flag of the autonomous monastic state of Mount Athos comes from the Byzantine Empire. The Byzantine Imperial flag is yellow with a black crowned double-headed eagle holding a coronation ball and sceptre. This flag has more similarities to the Flag of Montenegro than the Albanian Flag itself. The double headed egal may originate from the Byzantine Empire yet our treasured flag is completely unique. We believe that the Cavalera logo looks like a replica of the Albanian flag rather than that of the Byzantine Empire. We are not looking for excuses nor a history lesson, we do however want the Cavalera brand to give recognition that they are using the Albanian flag as their logo.
