Friends,

The City of Peoria has long needed a change of scenery, becoming a leech on the Phoenix Economical Centers and being used as runoff population. But no more!

We the people propose the City of Peoria be renamed to Petoria in honor of Peter Griffin. The City of Petoria has long since been destroyed by the US Government, but for the sake of our city we wish to revive our great leader to the forefront of the US Community!

For those of you looking for a reason besides its hilarity, let me list a few reasons renaming the city will help;

-With the name change also comes the namesake of the Family Guy franchise (and the band Pretoria as extra), which will traffic hundreds of tourists a week if we manage to embrace it, similar to the small micronations and odd-named towns like Earth, TX.

-Rebranding Petoria may have the small offchance of moving Family Guy's studio to Petoria, AZ, as Seth and his team have wished for a while to break off from the tyrannical Fox Corporation. This may even result in its clout stealing a few more film studios to help embrace Petoria as an entertainment and cultural city, stealing from the Californians of their "Hollywood." I hate California. 

-As previously mentioned, it is a massive middle finger to California. I hate California.
