As a lifelong of Batman, I have watched all the different movies and series and studied the vast lore of the character. With the unfortunate cancelation of Zack Snyder's DCEU and Ben Affleck's solo Batman movie, I feel like Alan Ritchson would be the perfect Batman for James Gunn's DCU. Here are my top five reasons on why I think he would be perfect.

Alan has the perfect resemblance to the iconic character. His muscular build and badass demeanor align perfectly with Batman's character profile both physically and emotionally

2. If you've seen Reacher or just watched clips of it, you should know Alan fights exactly how Batman would, combining brute strength and analytical tactics impressively. 

3. He is at the perfect age for when Damian Wayne steps into the role of Robin, and is young enough to play Batman for at least a decade. Despite his age, Alan's impeccable fitness level and youthfulness rivals younger actors, making him an ideal fit. Who knows, if anti aging products keep improving, he can play the character for over 20 years.

4. Alan has the perfect charisma to capture the charming persona of Bruce Wayne effortlessly. Alan's charisma and captivating aura are undeniable, adding another feather to his cap to become the perfect Batman.

5. Alan has publicly admitted in an interview that he wants to play Batman and even said he'd shout it on the rooftop. I think he's so perfect that if I was in charge of casting, I give him the part on a silver platter. He could be better than every other actor that's played Batman combined.

Casting decisions aren't just about fan fantasies but about making these stories come alive on screen. Casting Alan Ritchson as Batman will bring justice to the character, infuse our favourite superhero with freshness, and maintain the legacy of Batman in the most dignified way possible.
