Many OCs have ben made in the past for Steven Universe. That include many versions of Onyx. But my version of Onyx seems to get a lot of well feed back from people and fans of the show.

Onyx is a Gem from Home World and throughout the life of Onyx took part in helping Home World become larger and go from world to world spreading more Gems.

Onyx loves old fashion human ways. What this means is Onyx lives amongst humans with Steven Onyx came to understand Humans all wrong by trying to understand them herself. She ended up watching old movies such as grease and even older black and white films. This is a key trait to this character as throughout the series she says Groovy, Rad, righteous , golly and much more. she even references real life movies. Onyx like Amethyst loves to eat even though they don't need to. He takes it a step forward by wanting to become a chef on the tv. Onyx though being from Home World becomes more familiar with humans faster and better then the other Crystal Gems. The other being Amethyst. Throughout the series Onyx learns how to play a few musical instruments. The Piano, Banjo and the guitar. Onyx is not very skilled in fighting even with the training of Jasper since Onyx lacks agility and strategy. Onyx mostly focuses on power as Garnet is combined with decent agility and strategy.

relationships with the other character in the show become interesting. Onyx seems to take a liking to Steven and considers him a little brother through the show. she see's Greg as a father figure and the Crystal Gems as her family. Her best friend though becomes a Human named Sour Cream as Sour Cream teaches him how to DJ and RAVE.

though Onyx most interesting relationship in the Gem family is Pearl. During the Gem war as Onyx was wining the battle between herself and Rose Pearl was the one who took out Onyx with her Spear. Though Pearl didn't get a good enough look at Onyx to completely identify her when she showed up once more with Steven. Though throughout the show she has a strong feeling he can't be trusted and later on she puts the pieces together herself.
