The original Teen Titans show has brought together fans of all ages, young, old, parents and children. The show for me was everything. As a young 3rd grader I had no friends and was bullied constantly, I found refuge in the stories of the titans and could not wait to get home to watch the show over and over again and draw the characters until my arm went numb. Now at almost 20 years old this show still holds a large part in my heart, as well as many other people I know of that can not accept the "ending" we were given in 2006. The show was deep and the characters taught us lessons and went inside the emotions and thoughts of the characters. The relationships between the characters were very personal and unique, something you could only find in the Teen Titans Tv show. The Titans are not just characters to us, they are real, they cried, they got angry and argued, they had their differences and they accepted those differences. The show went over topics of racism, bullying, politics, and captured the hearts of many. This was more than a show to the Teen Titans fandom, it was apart of us. Ending this show was a hit on our childhood, and it even made some fans of the original show 'hate' Cartoon Network for canceling it and stopped respecting the channel all together. But I believe bringing the show back for the older kids that loved it when they were younger will make people more content and even look back onto Cartoon Network for normal entertainment purposes. 
     From my understanding, when the TV show was created the producers were told to 'be risky'. Something cartoons on cartoon network have never really done at that point. With those directions we were given the best cartoon in TV history. Lately, with Cartoon Networks new approach of "kid friendly television" shows like the original Teen Titans are taboo and too mature for young audiences. I also am under the impression that season 5 was supposed to have close to 20 episodes, bringing back Thunder and Lightning, the Doom Patrol, and other aspects of the Teen Titans franchise. But with the decision to go more kid friendly the show was cut and we were given shows like Steven Universe, Teen Titans GO! and Uncle Grandpa. 
     I feel, that with enough support we can get this show back. I understand why Cartoon Network may never bring back the show on their station. However, what if the last season was released via DVD exclusively or the show were to be streamed via Netflix, Hulu, or some other TV station? The last episode of season 5 "things change" left the teen titans fandom with tons of questions and I feel that we deserve the answers to. I am proposing that we ask for either the last episodes of season 5 - up until episode 20 and or an official Season 6.

I and the people who have signed this petition are asking you to withdraw your decision to not bring back the original Teen Titans series. We understand why you will not be able to bring it back onto Cartoon Network and ask that you please release the rest of the Teen Titans series via DVD exclusively or stream it through Hulu and or Netflix. Please consider a sixth season of Teen Titans at this time so that we can finally be at peace with the decision to end the show so suddenly. Our questions need to be answered and we deserve the right to know what happened, such as why Terra was brought back. This show teaches moral values and has a good message, the idea of bringing the show back needs to be revisited at this time and we ask that you please consider releasing it in some shape or form for the fans of Teen Titans.
