Transgender people are constantly shown to be negative in all aspects of society, particularly through the media, particularly through television and movies. They are rarely, if ever, shown in the aforementioned platforms, and if there are transgender characters, they are displayed very negatively. This negative depiction ranges from being displayed as undesirable to having cisgender actors play transgender characters.

Me and my partners in this project want to change that with this petition. Our main goal is to have a show on television with a well-written transgender character. In order to do so, we have spent the last couple of months creating a script and making some thumbnails for a storyboard that we would like to send to major television programs such as Nickolodeon, Cartoon Network and Disney Channel. You can see what we have so far of our storyboard ideas and such right below this petition!
