Cancel the Powerpuff Girls Reboot

Cancel the Powerpuff Girls Reboot
The Issue
I and many others are dissatisfied with Cartoon Network's handling of the 2016 Powerpuff Girls reboot.
The original did not need a continuation. It was actually meant to end with the special, The Powerpuff Girls Rule! There are so many other shows with creators that are openly interested in coming back to the network, but the new Powerpuff Girls was in fact discouraged by its creator, Craig McCracken:
"I never officially gave it my blessing I just understood the business reality that I had no power to stop it from being made. When CN told me they were making more I told them that I wished they wouldn't but from a financial standpoint I know why they did."
The "financial standpoint" of CN comes from how successful the original Powerpuff Girls toy line was at the time. Because the toys for the new show were advertised before the actual show itself, it can be inferred what the real reason for the property to be brought back.
That could be forgiven if the show itself wasn't so lacking. To name a few problems; the pacing is so poor, the animation is so un-dynamic, the comedy is so lackluster, the messages are so jumbled, and the character designs for the new characters feel so out of place with the original characters. They often try to tackle social issues, but the stories are not very subtle or careful in PPG. The reboot has specifically alienated the transgender community when an executive producer claimed an episode, "Horn Sweet Horn", about a horse wanting to be a unicorn was about transitioning:
If you look at the episode from that light, it comes off as horribly transphobic (Note: this was not the intent of the writers).
Now that the show has been confirmed for a second season, I decided I have waited long enough to do something about this. I understand that talented people are working on this show, but it seems like CN isn't using them to their full potential. For me personally, this isn't about the new voice actresses, they do their job just like the rest of the staff. What this is about for me is preserving a beloved show from being needlessly "updated" when it didn't need it.
To put it simply, I would prefer if this show was off the air.
My main goal here is to make sure Cartoon Network knows how we feel. I think I would be open to it if CN wanted to give it another go, but I believe that what we got was certainly lacking and it needs to stop. I understand that if this petition is signed enough to reach the higher-ups and nothing is done, then I will secede, but I will be pleased to have put up a fight for a show I hold so close to my heart.
