Here at Carroll University, we have been taking plenty of measures to restrict the spread of Covid-19. Recently, due to rising cases in the greater Wisconsin area, Carroll University Administration decided to close down our gyms and recreational facilities. These facilities provide substantial physical and mental relief for our students as they battle everyday life during these tough times. They provide students with employment which enables them the opportunity to invest in their future and come back for another semester. 

Perhaps, instead of closing down these facilities, tighter capacity restrictions could be enforced to keep our Carroll Community safe. For many students, these facilities are their sanctuaries to escape the difficult year 2020 has been. They are a way for them to clear their mind and focus on the ultimate goal of building the framework for a successful future at Carroll University.
