Petition to Defend Canada’s Constitutional Order

To the Government of Canada and the People of Canada:

We, the undersigned, express concern that Prime Minister Mark Carney is contributing to a dangerous shift of power away from Canada’s constitutional foundations and toward centralized control concentrated in the Prime Minister’s Office.

Under Canada’s Constitution, executive authority legally flows from the Crown — not from the personal authority of the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister is meant to advise the Crown and remain accountable to Parliament, the Constitution, and the rule of law — not rise above them.

Yet increasingly, Canadians are witnessing:

• centralized executive control concentrated in the PMO
• weakening parliamentary accountability
• governance through administrative systems and executive influence
• erosion of traditional constitutional safeguards and citizen oversight

Canada was founded upon constitutional government — where no individual stands above the law or the constitutional structure itself.

We therefore call for:

• restoration of constitutional balance and parliamentary accountability
• protection of the constitutional role of the Crown
• greater transparency and limits on centralized executive power
• renewed public education on Canada’s constitutional system and citizen safeguards

AND RESPECT FOR THE COMMON LAW AUTHORITY OF THE GRAND JURY ON TREASON

Canada must remain a constitutional nation governed by law — not by the unchecked concentration of power in one office.
