Alexander Brangman's only daughter, Jewel, was just 26 years old when she was killed by a ticking time-bomb Takata airbag in a recalled Honda Civic. She was a beautiful, gifted gymnast and model who taught gymnastics to children. As he honors Jewel's life and memory, Alexander has become a passionate and remarkably effective advocate for auto safety, and especially for ensuring that tens of millions of cars with deadly Takata airbags are repaired, to spare other families such a horrendous loss.
Last November, politicians in New Jersey got over $500,000 from car dealers with a history of cheating consumers, and now are carrying their legislation to allow them to get away with selling dangerous unrepaired used cars, like the one that claimed Jewel's life. Alexander is fighting back. Here's a billboard that drivers in New Jersey see as they enter the capital city, Trenton. Please help spread the word. Thank you!!
