Alexander Brangman's beautiful, talented daughter Jewel was only 26 years old when she was killed by the shrapnel from an exploding, defective Takata airbag. She was driving a rented Honda Civic that had been recalled, but the rental car company failed to get it fixed.

Now Alexander is raising awareness about the hazards of unrepaired recalled cars, and has become one of the nation's leading auto safety advocates. He's urging people to sign his new petition on Change.org, calling on politicians in New Jersey to stop pushing anti-consumer, anti-safety legislation, backed by unscrupulous car dealers. 

The car dealers' bill would allow them to get away with selling hazardous unrepaired recalled cars, like the one that killed Jewel.
