This petition serves as a stopper for the idea circulating in Texas legislation of selling part of T.S.D.'s land to compensate for the costs of on campus facilities maintenance and repairs.  Although it is just an idea, we must ensure that it does not happen now or in the years to come. T.S.D.'s budget request (LAR) is essential as it includes funds for maintenance and repairs as well as funds to expand their Hispanic/Latino Support Services and various Career Technology education programs.
