Over 20 years ago I attended Cardinal Wiseman Secondary school in Greenford and had no issues with wearing stud earrings, neither have I ever heard of a child hurting themselves wearing stud earrings. 

I was utterly confused as to why from September 2022 the school decided to enforce a no earrings policy which I believe violates our children's basic human rights. As most people are aware stud earrings are harmless, babies from 6 months wear stud earrings therefore it is appalling that in 2022 children are being harassed and victimised for wearing stud earrings and issued with multiple counterproductive detentions.

Cardinal Wiseman has become more and more like a dictatorship with old school ideologies and values which infringes on the rights of children, many of who culturally choose to wear stud earrings which as we already know does not affect a child's education or learning. Therefore if boys and girls wish to wear stud earrings they should be able to do so. Please support this movement as this school is being run like a prison and children's basic human rights are being taken away.
