With most universities cancelling exams altogether such as Oxford University, Birmingham University, as well as departments within Cardiff University cancelling exams switching to assignments such as Law, it is unfair that certain departments, mainly Cardiff Business School are insisting on going ahead with exams, despite the lack of facilities and resources available to us during these unprecedented times. With most schools, they have reduced work loads as well as switching to assignments to help ease the pressure of students. Cardiff Business school however, has increased the workload of already struggling students and insisting that 30 minutes extra time will help ease the stress. Cardiff Business School students want to be treated fairly, by being offered the same options as other schools, such as assignments. Sitting in your bedroom, doing a 2-3 hour exam on your laptop is not going to allow for students to do well, whether there is a no detriment policy bought in or not. Petition is to CANCEL all exams across ALL departments at Cardiff University.
