A knighthood for Captain Tom Moore

The Issue

Captain Tom Moore, A 99 year old army veteran who served in India and Burma during World War Two decided to try and raise £1000 for the NHS by walking 100 laps of his 25 metre garden in Marston Moretaine, Bedfordshire before his 100th Birthday. Since then, donations have reached £10 million and are still rising.

Health Secretary Mat Hancock has described him as "an inspiration to us all" and NHS Charities Together said it was "truly inspired and humbled".

Captain Moore should be properly recognised for his achievement and a Knighthood would be an appropriate reward.

Please sign this petition to show your gratitude to this war hero in his gesture of thanks to the hospital staff who helped him with treatment for cancer and a broken hip.
