Capsule made it seem that my prescription was already packed and ready for delivery for four days. I am a 9/11 survivor and I was in a car accident. I haven’t slept for four days due to withdrawal. I am going to make the complaint with the NYS Attorney General, the Office of Professional Responsibility, the NYSBOE and the Department of Justice for civil rights violations. Lying isn't acceptable in your chosen profession. Lives depend on your pharmacy. If you told me the truth Saturday, I would've made other arrangements. My doctor went on maternity leave after submitting my prescription to Capsule. Now they want me to find another doctor to prescribe the same medication they were supposed to deliver four days ago. If you take life dependent medication, use Amazon online pharmacy, or Walgreens for your prescription needs. Good luck!

Capsule response below after four days of waiting. Background-Last night, the delivery driver texted me that he was around the corner with my medication and when I responded that I was at the door, he texted a minute later that someone must’ve forgotten to place my prescription in his car.

“Hi Ingrid. We rescheduled your delivery for 7-10pm today. Unfortunately, ( my medication) is on backorder from our wholesalers so we do not have this in stock to deliver to you. As this is a controlled substance we can not transfer it to another pharmacy, your doctor would need to send directly to them. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. “
Update: I still haven’t received my medication. Seven days without sleep. I was told my medication is still on back order.

Update: As of today, 3/8/23, 12 days have passed since I’ve had my medication. I asked if they received the medication that was on back order and this is their response.

“Hi, Ingrid, Capsule here. We need a new prescription from your doctor as the prescriptions on file were discontinued by your prescriber with a note not due fill. Please have them send a new script if you are to resume taking, very sorry about this.”

The next time your tempted to use Capsule pharmacy, here’s the message you’ll receive from the bot,
“Hello Dear! Thanks for your message. We are closed at the moment. We appreciate the chance to look after you and will reach out as soon as we open. Love you, Capsule”

We need more accountability in healthcare and Capsule has shown that they are incapable of keeping up with the high demands for medication. Demand better services for patients wellness. Capsule pharmacy has violated the civil rights of thousands of patients. Make a complaint through 311 if your rights were violated.

You can file a complaint about professional misconduct against a pharmacist within the state of New York.

Professional misconduct includes the following but is not limited to:

Permitting or aiding an unlicensed person to perform activities requiring a license
Practicing beyond the scope of the profession
Releasing confidential information without authorization
Failing to return or provide copies of records on request
Abandoning or neglecting a patient in need of immediate care
Performing unnecessary work or unauthorized services
Practicing under the influence of alcohol or other drugs
Complaints must be submitted in writing to the New York State Office of Professional Discipline (OPD). Complaints cannot be filed by phone.
