Subject: Demand for Capital Punishment for Rapists and Strengthening of Justice System

Honourable President,

I am writing to express my deep concern and outrage about the alarming rise in rape cases across the country. Despite the Nirbhaya incident in 2012, which led to widespread protests and demands for change, the situation remains dire. The lack of effective implementation of laws and the failure to deliver swift justice have emboldened perpetrators, leaving victims and their families without adequate support or recourse.

In light of this, I respectfully demand that Capital Punishment be introduced as a mandatory penalty for convicted rapists. It needs to be applied for the male victims also. This, I believe, is the only effective deterrent to prevent such heinous crimes.

Furthermore, I request your consideration of the following measures to strengthen the justice system:

1. Expedite the investigation and trial processes to ensure timely justice for victims.
2. Enhance victim support systems, including counseling, medical care, and legal assistance.
3. Establish robust mechanisms to prevent and address false allegations, while protecting the rights of genuine victims.

I urge your leadership in initiating a comprehensive review of the existing legal framework and its implementation. Your intervention will be crucial in creating a safer and more just society for all citizens.
