Let Danny Race!!!!! Ok everyone...We need your help... It has been confirmed that the powers to be are threatening to prevent 2 time Daytona 200 winner Danny Eslick from running in this year's 200 and have suspended him from all AMA activity. This is in the wake of this past week’s alleged activities that involved Danny and the police. So as it were, it would seem that Danny allegedly got himself into trouble during one of the craziest weeks in Daytona Beach and is currently preparing himself to run the 200 for TOBC Racing. There has been no verdict of guilt or innocence, nor has there been a hearing to determine such. That said, we ask that hasty decisions are not prematurely made as we don’t know the circumstances surrounding the events. What we do know is this…..Danny Eslick has the opportunity to be the first rider in the 75 year history of the Daytona 200 to win 3 in a row and on 3 different bikes. Not only has it never been done, but could be, by someone who prior to the most recent incident, has kept himself out of trouble.  Let’s not forget this is Danny’s professional career which is not tied to his personal life outside. Let’s also not forget that those who work a normal 8-5pm get to clock out and be whoever they want to be in regards to being trialed on alleged misdemeanors and not having them linked back to their work. This is how he makes a living and provides for his family. Yes, public appearance is part of the game and we dare not downplay any serious acquisitions to a LEO, but at the same time do not wish to make hasty judgement decisions based on nothing but media headlines and the imagery that was marketed around him in the past.  Signing this petition means that We all ask this same respect from AMA which has made a hasty judgement call against Danny. A decision we feel was made in haste and if by judge and jury is accused that the AMA would have the decision to reprimand fairly.

We try not to justify the alleged crime but at the same time wonder why an “Example” is being made of Danny in such severity. That he would not be the first racer, be it motorcycle or car, to be taken into custody for getting unruly before a big race especially in a city full out people for Daytona Bike Week. That there have been several over the years and they have been, in most cases, allowed to compete or compete and then punishments to follow! None of us are perfect and devoid of wrong doing and I pray that the powers that be will allow proper legal authority to take place or allow Danny to stand infront of the AMA board to talk about the events and what can be done in the future to fix the problem. This is OUR Danny, and we love him the way he is, and more importantly so do the fans.  We live in America, a country where you are innocent until proven guilty!
