The Issue
PETITION TO CAPE TOWN CITY COUNCIL
Objection to Rooftop Telecommunication Station at residential area.
We, the undersigned concerned residents of Sybrand Park,object to the installation of a rooftop base telecommunication station at a domestic residence on Lente Road for the following reasons:
• Potential health hazard – ‘better safe than sorry’
• Negative effect on property prices
• Unsightly visual impact for immediate neighbours
• The station is limited to one service provider and sets a precedent for other providers
• The service provider report shows other alternative siting options which should be considered.
